Electronic Medical Record Adoption Model

JIt is an eight-level model that can be used to determine (and compare) the degree of digitization of healthcare processes within a given healthcare facility. This model includes not only the transition from paper to electronic documentation, but also the provision of information support in nursing care, diagnostic and treatment procedures, including the involvement of an expert system. The focus of this model is also ensuring information security, cyber security and interoperability of medical documentation. Individual levels can be briefly and generally characterized as follows:
